BluCAL was founded in 2016 by Eddie Bandini, Scott Pitchford and David Seaton in Eddie’s Pleasant Hill garage. The three former Chico students were running through names for a company that would serve their home state of California and allow flexibility in services to range from General Contracting to Environmental Construction Services. When they got to BluCAL - everyone in the room knew it was the name to take the company forward. BluCAL began by performing hundreds of renovations for different multi-family property management groups and became one of the most trusted names in the Southern California and Northern California multifamily markets.
Once the company had stabilized in 2018, Eddie and Scott brought on another Partner, Mitch Winslow, to head the Environmental Construction Services division to diversify the company and to solidify what has become BluCAL’s trademark niche in the construction industry - a turnkey product. With experience in General Contracting, Environmental Construction and Multifamily Asset Investment, Eddie understood firsthand the frustrations of juggling multiple vendors. BluCAL identified the need for seamless transition from an unexpected building disaster to re-occupancy and continued use of a space, whether that is residential or commercial.
BluCAL’s executive team introduced the EOS system to the company in 2020 and invested time and effort to identify the company’s core values and business plan. BluCAL is built around Honesty, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork. These values are applied to all decisions made by the company and are values that are found in each of the BluCAL employees. BluCAL expanded our service market to Southern California in 2023 and we are targeting additional regions in Northern California.
BluCAL believes in taking a consultative approach in providing state-of-the-art solutions for our clients most vital needs, allowing us to seek partnerships with aligned interests. We go above and beyond in our efforts to fully understand all aspects of our client’s needs, ultimately providing customized solutions tailored to meet their specific needs.
